Kyalian

Kyalian is an ethnic group originating from the continent of Kyalia and the large mercantile state of the same name. Nowadays with the increase in immigration to and from all areas of the Eastern Side of Avermundi this includes those of Kyalian decent to an extant.

Racial distribution

Kyalians have had a strong and relatively unified cultural identity for several thousand years. The main races that are associated with the ethnicity are the Ornicthi and Gruid, though as of recent many humans have began to adopt Kyalian customs.

Arts and Exports

Kyalians have a long tradition and culture of trading and the arts, meshing well with their neighbors Maphni and Nja'kvas that have their own arts and staples to trade. Some of their most notable high value exports being Thistle Rabbit Vellum, spices, tea, Mercurium , and luxury textiles.
Other exports include rice, buckwheat, wheat, and lamp oil.

Religion

The native religion of Kyalian groups a is Shinivani, a worship of nature spirits and the pantheons of the Ornicthi and Gruid peoples, around 73% of the population is estimated to practice Shinivani. 20% is estimated to practice Pantheon worship The remaining 7% are estimated to either be nondenomitble , part of a small regional religion, or a cultist.
