Influence
Any gems you hold start to give off a magical vibe. You are able to absorb the gems into your body.
For every 20G worth of gems you absorb, gain 1 stack. Whenever you roll or when a roll is made against you, you may spend as many stacks to adjust the roll up or down. You must use this ability before the result of the roll is announced and cannot adjust it more than once.
Ritual
The Querent is granted the ability to cast Resurrection. When they use this ability, only one condition must be fulfilled: Someone else must be truly and willingly volunteer to die in the place of the being that is being restored to life. Such a volunteer is entirely unmade, and no force, not even the most powerful magic such as wish, nor divine intervention, can restore them.
When the Querent uses this ability, they take their cut. Stealing a year of life from each, adding it to their own.
Whispers
Those desperate to bring back their loved ones, may come seek out the Querent. As will Deities that involve Death, Order, Chaos, or others that create an afterlife for their followers.
