The Seawatch tavern is the oldest building in the town of Sailor’s Rest. It started life as a communal living space, being erected as a temporary shelter whilst construction work began on the rest of the town. Over the years, it gained sturdy stone walls and a tiled roof, naturally evolving from a community living space into a tavern. It was one of the only buildings in Sailor's Rest that survived the second dragon war with minimal damage, and became a necessary communal shelter again for a time.
Nowadays, the tavern continues to be a vital part of the community, and Lord Piper is often seen there drinking and eating amongst the rest of the town.
