The Pale Bones of Our Lady

The centre of the Orthodoxy

The Pale Bones of Our Lady is the largest church in the Caillish Orthodoxy and, by consequence, the largest church in the country of Caillah. It stands in the north of the capital city of Codura, its pale spires looming over the settlement in divine judgement. Construction started as a way to commemorate Codura's new status as capital, and took over two centuries to complete - though planning is currently underway for a new elaborate wing.   The Pale Bones of Our Lady - its name must never be shorterned - is currently the centre of the Caillish Orthodoxy. It is the home of several important relics, such as the original manuscript of the Caillish Text, the skull of the founder of the Orthodoxy, and the preserved hearts of the Five Martyrs.

They like relics in the Faith - do they have a tradition of incorruptibility as well?

I am not sure yet. I am thinking probably not, like decay is the natural order of things, and them intervening by preserving relics is a sacred duty or something.

I'd be interested to see how much protection would be in place for such a large church storing valuable relics.

They definitely have a strong presence of security guards. But also fear of angering the Goddess probably helps a little as well.
