The Drystians are the human inhabitants of the country of Dryst. Their society is currently in a cultural upheaval - an industrial revolution - leaving to a large schism between those who want to stick the old ways and those who are striving to make the next great invention. There are some who even believe continued technological progress will lead the end of the world.
The current project on everyone's lips is a countrywide railway network, though construction has ground to a halt due to politics. Dryst's current ruler is extremely pro-industry, however, so most folk predict the railway project will not be stymied for long.
