Seawatch is a large stone castle that dominates the cliffs of the town of Sailor’s Rest. It is the seat of power for the Lord Piper and his family, who rule over this area of the Vaifale lordship.
The old lighthouse used to be one of the towers on the seaward side of the castle, a beacon of safety for those who traversed the Grey Waters. It, alongside much of the castle itself, was destroyed during the second dragon war. Afterwards, the castle was rebuilt, and a new lighthouse erected alongside it instead of as part of the castle.
The old great hall still stands, though it is now open to the air with melted stone walls. Festivals are often held there. A new great hall was built on the other side of the castle.
