Nor

Fertile and damp

Nor is a medium sized country located in the east of the continent of Aenica. The southern part of the country has the dubious honour of being the wettest place on Etrea, a tangled mess of swampland, jungle, and rainforests. At certain times of the year it is difficult to tell where the land ends and the ocean begins. Much of the water in this area is brackish, contributing to the evolution of some unique animals and plants.
The rest of Nor is characterised by woodland, rolling hills, and fertile grasslands.
Nor has been an absolute monarchy for the past two thousand years. For the past millennia, the crown has passed directly down the same family line, going directly to the first born child of the previous monarch whether male or female.
