An Eternal Servant was a subordinate created by The Seven to assist in fulfilling their divine tasks.
History
Creation
During the Primordial Era, The Seven realized that they could not fully carry out The One’s grand vision alone. The concept of creating helpers was first proposed by The Architect, who recognized the enormity of their undertaking. The Nurturer immediately supported the idea, eager to see life and creation expand even further. The Guardian, however, insisted that a method of control be established to prevent potential disobedience.
These beings were imbued with immense power through fragments of The Seven’s essence, known as Eternal Shards, allowing them to perform their roles with great precision and effectiveness. No one knows the exact number of Servants created by The Seven, but many Magisters believe that they numbered in the thousands.
Destruction
After the Calamity, The One decreed a punishment for The Seven for their part in the chaos that threatened the Eternal Universe. In addition to confining The Seven within the Eternal Plane, The One stripped them of their Servants. With a single act of divine will, The One destroyed all the Eternal Servants, ensuring that The Seven would no longer wield their aid.
The Eternal Shards, once the source of the Servants' power, were scattered across the planes of existence. These shards, remnants of divine energy, remain hidden throughout the universe, said to be imbued with fragments of The Seven's original might. They are coveted relics, believed to hold the potential to reshape destiny—or unleash destruction—depending on who wields them.
Rumors
Whispers persist among scholars and Magisters that it may be possible to resurrect an Eternal Servant if their Eternal Shard is found and properly restored. According to this theory, the essence and identity of a Servant are entirely contained within their shard, making it the key to their existence.
Though no documented case of such a resurrection exists, the notion has fueled countless quests, with adventurers and researchers scouring the planes for these fragments of unimaginable power. Whether these rumors hold truth or are merely the dreams of the hopeful remains one of the Eternal Universe's greatest mysteries.
