Library of Arcadia

Summary

The Library of Arcadia (true name: The Library of Records in Arcadia) is a secretive library that many who live in the area consider to be directly connected with storing the knowledge of the Gods themselves. Though not located in the Plane of Arcadia, the library is located in a district with a code name of "Arcadia". The entire settlement in which "Arcadia" is contained is considered the largest collaborative effort in Estya to not only research and discover new technologies, but to also make an active effort is preserving and protecting Estyan records and history from the war.

Cultural Reception

While the locals swear by every divine imaginable that the library is a real place on Estya, few believe them, and instead believe the library is located on the plane, as opposed to a secretive cross-continent collaboration. Those who do know and believe of the library's existence in Estya are typically divided in opinion along class lines.
The nobility believe the library to be a puppet of the Shadi Order and the entire district an effort to overthrow the "natural order of Estya." Commoners are more pront to believe that the library gets most of its records from the Shadi Order, but the two are allies, as opposed to one directly controlling the other.
