Sevangesia Technate
Sevangesia is an independent nation that was torn from the Aecax Mountains in 1967 B.E. and floats above the canyon it formed. The city-state was built by the Kaxlese, an artificially created race, and it is a testament to their technological ingenuity. The city is powered by solar and wind energy, and it is the only nation in the world to have developed transposition technology, which allows the Kaxlese to travel to any location on the island in an instant. Moreover, anyone can travel anywhere in the world using their Gates.
Kaxlese pride themselves on their city's technological prowess, which is also the city's main economic focus. The buildings are all built in a consistent style, and Sevangesia is very clean and orderly. Scientists and engineers are revered by the Kaxlese, who believe they are in sync with technological evolution. Sevangesia is governed by the Council of the Mind, a group of six leading scientists and engineers.
The Kaxlese view themselves as the world's keepers and keep watch over the other nations. They are very private people, hoarding knowledge until it is necessary to share it. However, they are not willing to share their technology with other nations. The Kaxlese are the engineers of the world and are highly intelligent but emotionally detached. They are generally indifferent to other races and want to keep to themselves. They are not a warmongering species but are not afraid to use violence to defend themselves.

Economy
Agriculture & Industry
The Sevangesia Technate has an industrial economy with a large emphasis on technological advancement. In addition to metallurgy, they have developed the ability to harvest energy from the sun and wind. The island has a large concentration of platinum, iron, and nickel. Aside from these, there are few natural resources on the island, so they trade with other nations for resources such as lumber, livestock, and food. Although they are not willing to share their technology with other species, they will trade with other nations. The Kaxlese are on friendly terms with the other nations, but they are not particularly diplomatic. Numerous parks and open spaces can be found throughout the city, and most of the city's roads have railings. Through terminals, which function as miniature gates, the Kaxlese have developed transposition as a primary mode of transportation around their island. The large terminals are located in major districts, while the smaller terminals are located in smaller ones. Despite their simple appearance, Kaxlese homes are equipped with advanced technology. They have large windows and balconies, and they are built to withstand strong winds, rain, and snow. There are no foreigners in Kaxlese communities, so everything is built uniformly.
Society
Demography and Population
Kaxlese are not social creatures, and it is not unusual for a Kaxlese to go through life without making a single friend. Because their bodies are their most prized possessions, they react strongly to any perceived disrespect toward them. The Kaxlese have a stable population of 630,000 and have never lived beyond 46. They also do not have childhoods; at one year old, they select their field of study and at five, they select their specialization. The Kaxlese are highly educated, with a literacy rate of 100%. Education is paid for by the state, and the Kaxlese are expected to contribute to society when they are finished with their education. The Kaxlese are not a religious people, but they do acknowledge a higher power. They are very private people who hoard knowledge and reveal it only when required.
