District 12: Slogborough

Located on the South-Western side of the Outer Ring, District 12 of Eco City is notorious for its industrial complexes. Also known as Slogborough, it is governed by the Slogborough Council. They are in charge of the administration and distribution of the district's public services. Even though other districts have production facilities, District 12 is the one with the most; as it was designated to be so during the construction of Eco One (a.k.a. the Aspire).

Resource Management

Aboard the Aspire, Resource Management is crucial for the success of the Mission. Every material, component and commodity is recorded via the Resource Control System. Large magnitudes of data are processed each second to track every item within the district. Efficiency is the top priority of the Resource Control System, which also calculates both actual and projected amounts of stored resources.

Production

Over 9000 industries are within Slogborough, from metal alloy production facilities to the manufacturing of vehicles, construction materials and electronics. District 12 is the core area of production, providing Residents with every item they need.

Distribution

In the centre of District 12 is the main Distribution Centre of the entire city. Gigatons of commodities are shipped out of this District every day, supplying millions upon millions of homes and businesses across the city.

Storage

Most of the Districts storage is found underground at Level -1.

Recycling

Adjacent to Slogborough is District 11: The Junkyard. All of the recycled materials are delivered to District 12 to be crafted into many items. Any waste generated by the factories of District 12 is sent to District 11 for recycling.

Residencial Zones

The Residencial Zones of District 12 are allocated to the workers of the factories and other production facilities, as well as the public services which are within the District. Currently, the population of District 12 is approximately 500,000.
