Divine Marcus, how he is sometimes called by his followers, is the leader of a spiritual movement called Ocean of Light, that is considered by many to be more of a cult. He is extremely charismatic and can be frequently seen in public, especially during tides, to preside over public group meditation and chanting sessions. In the past he was also known for hosting talks on various religious, spiritual and philosophical topics, but those have been restricted to an inner circle of his followers for the past decade. While no longer young, he is seen by many as an extremely charming and charismatic person with a low melodious voice. He is firmly rejecting the accusations of being a cult leader and sees himself as more of a spiritual guide, a "helper to ascension and clarity".
Little is known about his past life, there seem to be no other living members of his family and he makes sure to keep anything about his personal history private. There are also many legends and stories circulating among the followers about him with few ways for the observes to prove their validity. It has been confirmed that he has some experience in selling alchemical and pharmaceutical ingredients and equipment, but his name appears in no academical records that are avaliable. He also does not have any teaching license either. But according to his words, there is no need for artificial paper proofs, if what guides you is higher calling of beings that are far wiser than any mortal can be. Some of his followers do actually see him as a messiah that will free humanity of the chains of civilisation and the so called progress and by proxy, saving the souls of everyone in the world. The most loyal are willing to follow him anywhere and do anything for him and in the name of his teaching.
