The Reverie

The Reverie is a dreamscape that parallels Nalea, sharing most of its features and landscapes, though what happens in there does not change Nalea and what happens in Nalea has little effect on the Reverie. 
A skilled meditator or astral projector can with some effort travel to a location in the Reverie and see what is happening in the corresponding location in Nalea. Charms and wards do exist to prevent such eavesdropping, but that doesn't mean that it never happens.
The Wyverns are the rulers of the Reverie, leading to many questions about whether Nalea is the dream of the Wyverns or if it is perhaps the other way around. Most adepts believe that both domains came into existence together. If Nalea is a drop of reality through out into the realm of being, then the Reverie would be the skin of that bubble, or the permeable layer between the world we know and the ultimate realm of the gods.

Geography

The terrain of the Reverie mirrors that of Nalea. Mount Ameslin is the point where the two domains are closet to one another and it is possible that for a person to pass from one to pass from one world into another there and in the surrounding environs.

Ecosystem

The life that exists in the Reverie is much more fantastical than that of Nalea. Many creatures exist in their pure elemental form there so it not uncommon to see birds composed of clouds, wind, or even fire. Emberflies and Rock Turtles abound throughout the world.

Ecosystem Cycles

The seasons in the Reverie are different from those in Nalea, but they often coincide.

• Spring is the Season of Inspiration, when the sparks of creativity are released to fertilize the dreams of tomorrow.
• Summer is the Season of Mirages, when the intensity of dream tends to obscure and distract from the work at hand.
• Fall is the Season of Rendition, when the dream comes to its fruition.
• Winter is the Season of Illusion, when the dream often distracts from the nature of things as they are.
