The Holy Ternion and the Lieges of Mount Ameslin
In the eternal dream before the sleepers awoke, the sea of possibilities seethed with hope. One by one, the selfborn opened their eyes. The Wildborn rose and stirred the waters and quickened the cosmos. From the churning waters, the Everborn awoke and calmed the streams of whirl light. Then the Starkborn opened their eyes and slapped the surface of the dreaming. As the droplets rose splashed into the air, our world turned for the first time.Before the beginning, the Holy Ternion came into being. They are the selfborn, from one self or each unto themself is not know The world was created by the Wildborn (also known as Truesoul), the Everborn (also known as the Endheart), and the Starkborn (also known as the Ghostheart). The Holy Ternion set the world into motion and the power that emanated from them gave rise to life from the Grand Lieges of Mount Ameslin to the lowliest flea that hops through the world. Cosmological Views
According to legend, the selfborn were the first to arise from the eternal dreaming.
Wildborn (also known as Truesoul) was the first to awaken from the dreaming and set everything into motion. They stirred the waters of dream and in so doing gave rise to life itself. It is for this reason they are also called Truesoul, because in that moment the soul of everything that is, was, or ever shall be came into existence.
Everborn (also known as the Endheart) awoke up next and gave rise to the course and current of time, sometimes called the lifestream, that moved the universe forward. Without their contribution, life would have turned forever in the endless swirls and eddies of possibility and nothing would have come into being.
Starkborn (also known as the Ghostheart) arose next, and splashed in the dream. The droplets that rose into the air became the world, the sun, the moon, the stars, and the other wandering planets that can be seen moving to the cosmos. Through this act of breaking, individual life came into being, so that life as we know it could exist.
In the New World that arose from the dream; Krithys, the maiden of light; Sarthuun, the shepherd of souls; and Vunorun, The Sanguine Oracle, who together shaped the world we call home. They started with the Holy Mountain of Ameslin from which all life and magic flowed into the world. The seven high lieges took their throne on the mountain, and managed the world from on high.
