These pool are offered to others for a donation as a recuperative spa experience.

Purpose / Function

Querket are sanctuaries for the healing of the body and the soul.

Design

A Querket is grown, not build. as the Quermysta chant, the seeds of the quercea oak are planted according to the plan of the construction. Vivified by the prayers of the Mysta, they quickly grow and intwine trunk and bough so the building itself is alive.   Certain trees will become beds within the structure while other become walls, floors, cabinets and tables. Even the windows grow from the wood of the tree that stretches itself thin enough to be translucent, but thick enough to imbue the light passing through them to aid in the healing and recovery of those within.

Denizens

The Mysta are not the only inhabitants of the Querket, diminutive spirits called Ilex are born from the tree who resemble wood knots come to life. They aid in the care for the trees and the patients within.

History

One of the Moon Maidens took pity on the mortal world and bless the quercea oak to her power of renewal. The wood of the tree turned ivory white and the bark granite gray, while the leaves became an iridescent silver like the moon itself. She trained the first quermysta herself how to tend to the sick and wounded using the bark, branches, leaves, and acorns of the sacred oaks.   The first querket grew in Tsukimalo.
