Dwarf
The hardy Dwarves of Gildron remain Doljinaar’s most powerful western ally. Dwarves are great miners, crafters, tinkers and traders. Few uplanders understand how deeply the Dwarven kingdom delves, for its vast halls encompass far more land than men could ever imagine. Dwarves boast of a vast subterranean kingdom they call the Underrealms, nearly as large as mighty Doljinaar itself. A hidden kingdom of sparkling underground crystal caverns, glowing bioluminescent wilds and pitch black haunts they defend right beneath the feet of ignorant westerners, who crowd the lands above.
Dwarves come in a variety of clans such as the rich Silverbeards of Gildron, the Wild Dwarves of Ak’rim and the Gutter Dwarves of Ogden, who have mouths that make even sailors wince. Dwarves also have a number of deep purely subterranean cities and fortresses, claiming they hold down countless evils crawling up from the depths, freeing the surface from such threats far above. Some Dwarves have found a far less noble purpose, becoming members of the slave trade of the Black Ring. In fact, they would claim the whole of the West is deeply ungrateful for their efforts, but who ever heeds the grumbling of Dwarves?
