Fall damage occurs when a creature makes a sudden stop against a surface or similar (like water). A creature takes
1d6 Force damage for every ~10 ft (or ~3m) they fall, rounded up. There is no limit to how much damage a creature can take while falling, and it will go through
Blockstun. Damage reduction still reduces this damage, but this damage ignores Armor HP.
For 3 entirely random examples:
A creature that falls 36 ft takes
4d6 Force damage.
A creature that falls 100 ft takes
10d6 Force damage.
A goldfish that falls 1000 ft takes
100d6 Force damage. (Sorry MR.)
