Ability Description

Using the magic of teleportation, you're able to connect to points you can see and create a magical door with normal physical portals (Doors, windows, mirrors, etc).

When you cast this spell, you gain the ability to create two magical doors connected to each other. You may choose to place (or throw) one or both "doors" toward eligible physical portal you can see using an ◈, hurling it up to 500 ft. You may also choose to recall or close the portal(s) by using another ◈.

Any creature you deem an ally may spend 5 ft of Movement to step through the portal. Creatures larger than the portal can squeeze through, but will require more space on the other end and must spend 5 ft more Movement per size increase above Medium to make it through. You can orient the portal in any way of your choosing, as long as the surface it is placed on fits the criteria.Once placed within range of you, the portal move beyond such; and will only close when the spell ends, the material/portal it's placed on is destroyed, or if the door goes to another plane of existence.

If you cannot find a portal to use, you may create one within a 5 ft square just by making a circle or square-like shape with the environment (such as a making a large hole for a tree, using chalk, and/or drawing an outline).

 

Augmentation + other notes

⤴/Augment Up: When you cast this spell using a spell slot of 6th level or higher, this spell becomes the Linked Gate spell.
