Item Description |
Mithral is a metal known for it's lightness and sturdiness. While it appears to have magical properties innately in how its beauty does not seem to fade, the reality is that at some point the metal was touched by old magic that had faded, reshaping the metal before the magic passed on.
To this end, Mithral's luster never ceases, and its supernatural properties remain in armor and weapons made of mithril. This allows it to be favored by enchanters and magical smiths, as they can mold the metal quite easily and even reawaken the metal's properties, creating an artificial form of Dawnsilver.
Mithral weighs half as much as normal Metal, which makes anything crafted with it weigh less than it's sturdier counterpart with no seeable downside. Unfortunately, it not a Sacred Metal.Crafting Properties |
All Items
All items crafted using Mihtral weigh half as much. The weight reduction is lost if any other material is added afterward. If the item has the Heavy⚙️ trait, it will lose it, unless granted by another material.

Armor crafted with Mithral removes it's Strength requirement (if any) or restriction on benefits from Dexterity (if any). Additionally, removes any penalties imposed on by the specific piece of equipment to Dexterity checks or Movement (such disadvantage to Stealth or reduced Movement).
Weapons
Weapons crafted with Mithral gain the Finesse⚙️ trait, even if they wouldn't normally have such (such as a Greatsword).
Other
Mithral can be upgraded to Dawnsilver with a magical ritual (WIP)
