Item Description

Power Cores come in all shapes and sizes, but all serve the same function, once you're able to figure out which ends and connections work properly. Even a simple power source can be built in cave with a box of scraps. Engineers start the game with a Power Core, 1.

Power Cores can be depleted and require restarting, recharging, and/or replacing. But their creation is often random, and requires the transference from another source of power. All Power Cores start at 1, and only get stronger when other sources are applied to them (i.e. remaking it with the seperate materials gained).

All Cores are created via Crafting / Dismantling an Item.To this end, the methods of obtaining a core below are examples and are purely flavor.

Method 1: Scaveging

Certain creatures have their own magical sources of power, from Dragon Affinity Pouches to the hearts of Fire Titan Statues. Simply obtaining one from their corpses is good enough.

Method 2: Capturing Lightning

Using a flying aparatus and some string, any source of Lightning ⚙️ can be used to make a Power Core.
