CF: Potent Casting

When Using an Ability (such as a Spell or a Maneuver), you may choose to increase it's potency at no cost. For every Standard Action / ◈, or Free Action / ◇, used in Casting/Using the ability, or that is reduced by a feature; the Ability's damage or Healing is increased by an amount equal to your ability's modifier or your Proficiency Bonus (whichever is higher) times the amount of actions used/saved.
As an example, Using Blazing Bolt uses ◈◈. If your spellcasting modifier is +4, Blazing Bolt would deal 1d10+8 Fire Damage.
This is not affected cost/action increases by Augmentation or similar.

Mages, Channelers, and to a lesser degree Initiators all rely on their abilities to do damage or function in combat. As such, this purely combat oriented common feature is given to these classes around level 5.
