Gnolls are a strange, adaptable sort. The magic of higher powers can affect them, changing their bodies and minds with a powerful enough force. This has led to many tales across many worlds of gnolls being born from methods of madness where they are controlled by demon princes, while coming from and embracing the worldly magic of their planes when not. On Animundi, this is no different, though it has led to a very interesting turn for the canid people.   The Olofictus, the fey dimension of that world, was irrevocably changed and altered by a maelstrom of energies that poured into it from planes close and far. Once everything settled, the world was divided into two sub planes that took on their own identities. The Yokaine Gnolls are born from one side of such, forever changed by the active magics of the Olofictus's Shadow Realm.   Yokaine Gnolls are Psionic and Shadowy, taking in energies the are born from or rapidly change the body. Their features and abilities are often associated (or very similar to) supernatural energy born from such forces (such as demons), but they are anything but 'evil'. The power to bend Luck and shape fortunes is something many similar creatures can do.   Yokaine gnolls can exist on worlds outside of Animundi, if a suitable source of likeminded energy exists.

You gain the following...  
Remnants of Active Magic

The Fey world's influence has changed you on a fundamental level, coming from either a newfound connection or an older one passed through your family. This is a connection you can explore, as your options expand with your imagination.

You age five times slower (increasing your lifespan to 400 years, and qualifying for feat/ures like Ancient Entity via Ancestral Myriad). Additionally, you learn the Disrupting Toll and the Glib Tongue spells. The casting attribute for this spell is a mental Attribute of your choice.

Finally, while you do not gain anything else, you gain access to a multitude of ancestry talents, many of which are in line with those who forge their own luck.

 

As this talent is tied to a heritage, it cannot be regained or swapped, unless under specific circumstances.
