The Witch Gnoll takes after the very idea of the Witch. Of Cackling madly and fiddling with all kinds of Occult or Shadowy magic. Often accused of making funny sounds in the dark, Witch Gnolls continue many traditions brought on by their peers and communities, passing down information through Packs and Covens for new generations.

On Golarion, the Gnolls of this heritage call themselves "Witch Kholo", named after their kin with dark fur and lanky limbs.

  • Have spent your early days learning about creating poisons or antitoxins to assist your community.
  • Have practiced how to change your voice, to fit different situations or even a new identity.
  • Know much about Occult magic, and either want to continue down that path or turn away from it entirely.

  • See you as wicked or dangerous, even when you are not or trying to help.
  • Come for you to for potions others may not be as knowledgable about.
  • Ask you to replicate a song or speech they've heard, whether or not you're capable of giving them what they want.
 

Base Talent(s)

You gain the following...  
Incanter's Utterances

You learn the Ghost Sounds spell (the casting modifier is an attribute modifier of your choice). You also gain proficiency with the Perform: Oratory or Singing secondary skills (your choice), and the Profession: Alchemist skill.

At 5th level, you learn the Ventriloquism spell, and can cast it without consuming a spell slot once per Short Restt.

Finally, your mouth can be used as a Casting Focus. When you do, distant, but harmless cackling can be heard from around you.

As this talent is tied to a heritage, it cannot be regained or swapped, unless under specific circumstances.
