Roleplaying Info

Some dwarves came from cultures used to the soil of the grave. They often acted as tomb guardians, using innate power and tradition to ward off the malicious dead. They, more than others, understand the importance of the life and death.

  • Have an appreciation for old things, and wish to see them restored.
  • Assume that some kind of end is inevitable, and that it doesn't matter anyway.

Base Talent(s)

You gain the following...  
Warden of Life and Death

You know the grim business associated with the tomb and it's end. It's one of the reasons it was entrusted upon you.

Anything emanating from you that that normally wouldn't work against Undead or Constructs works normally. (e.g immunity to Psychic ⚙️ damage, unable to be healed with certain features or abilities, etc). Additionally, anything from you involving the Healing, Light, Radiant or Shadow traits gains an additional bonus dice (base d4) to their damaging and/or healing effects.

Additionally, if you roll a saving throw against an effect that has the was created by an Undead creature, you get a bonus dice (base d4) to the effect, too.

 

As this talent is tied to a heritage, it cannot be regained or swapped, unless under specific circumstances.
