See how we win with every piece of you
Don't underestimate the things that we will do
    - Rolling in the Deep by Adele

Angus applies his lead by example style with unwavering determination. He safeguards lives and fosters unity through his resolute decisions. Driven by urgency, Angus's choices might be seen as harsh or unfeeling by those affected. Striking the balance between swift action and empathy poses an ongoing challenge.

      Prelude to Fire Speech

    Prelude to Fire Speech

I watch Panu the coward out of the corner of my eye. "This is not over bastard." My eyes track the situation looking for an opportunity an edge. We have an edge, we have blood, heart and fire. This makes us dangerous, dangerous indeed.   Angus bellows out in a commanding voice his eyes filled with determination...   "Purebloods, Shantytown and Blight Guard although we face brutal darkness we will find strength, strength in each other, strength united. We are survivors, warriors of a world marred and maimed by the Blight but we will not become its victims today. Remember what we are made of. We are not just flesh and bone, we are the unbreakable spirit that burns within our hearts, that will rise against the darkness standing as testament to the resilience of humanity. Pureblood bring your pain, Shantytown bring your fire, Blight Guard we are the line in the darkness."

    Tomorrow's World

I'm doing my best to ensure a legacy, but sometimes dark clouds of hopelessness makes me feel powerless.

We'll know for the first time
    If we're evil or divine
We're the last in line, yeah
    - Last in Line by Dio

Angus's plans for the future extend to fostering connections within the Community. He aims to strengthen relationships, empower others through his example, and create a legacy that goes beyond his individual struggles. As he envisions a better future, Angus grapples with the idea that the struggle against the Blight may be unending. His fear is that, despite his efforts, the darkness might persist, threatening to extinguish the light he fights so hard to ignite. When the weight of the world becomes overwhelming, Angus retreats to his singing. Singing allow him to channel his emotions, providing moments of solace, catharsis and withdrawal.
    Inspiration [SOM]
You are an excellent public speaker who motivates others.
If you take the time to give an inspired speech, you can spend 1 Soma to create an appropriate Descriptor and convey an emotion to all who hear you. Characters who are moved by your speech and experience the desired emotion can mark the Descriptor you created on their own Sheet and, at the end of the Scene, gain XP from it as if it were their own.
Lesser NPCs are automatically impressed by your speech, whereas more important targets may try to resist. In that case, you must first succeed in a Position Check on Presence.
    Soma: 2
Upgrade: When you influence the emotions of bystanders, choose an NPC who will be permanently touched by your words, the MB will create a Descriptor for the NPC that, in some way, represents a strong feeling toward you.

    Iconic Item

The Walther WA 2000 is rare being one of under 200 ever produced. A symbol of quality, skill, sacrifie and reminder of the excesses of the old world. However It's rarity is not what makes it valuable to Angus. It was his father's rifle a link to years of cherished memories.

      Pablo
Nickname: The Brain   Pablo, what can I say he is really smart, I mean really smart. However when he starts in on what his peers in the SIBIOS-ISSB would think of this particular glow-in-the-dark green Nickelodeon slime my eyes glaze over and I long for a La Fin Du Monde spiced ale. However the truth is when we rebuild the world we need every smart person we can find, especially Pablo. So it is my job to protect him, even from himself.
      Kestrel
Nickname: The Shadow   It is a joy to see Kestral but damn she is quiet, you turn around and she is there just watching like a shadow. She represents what we were, what we are and what we will be. I think she is as much a part of this place as it is a part of her. I have vowed to protect the future and this definitely includes Kestrel. It is a blessing that she only hears stories of what we once had, now with everything we gain this is something new for her.
          Emma
Nickname: The Doc   As I opened my eye all I saw was an angel with hair like the sun. The pain of my wounds were still there but momentarily forgotten. This was my first memory of meeting Emma as she patched me up. She reminds me so much of my past, and pull heart string I thought were long dead. We have shared a couple of meal and I think she enjoys my company, but is it more, can it be more?

    Relationships

      Jaakob
Nickname: The Survivor   I see Pablo and Kestrel as important to the future and my duty to protect. Now Jaakob is both of those things and more I think. I see Jaakob as a kindred soul, a survivor at heart and the wolf is just more proof of that. Ya a freaking wolf, I have the sudden urge to shout "Winter if coming ...", except the truth is, the long winter of earth is already here. Having people like Jaakob on our team makes me think we just might make it. However I don't think he applaudes my style and approach.

    Blightguard

We are the Blightguard: a group of survivors tasked with the responsibility of protecting a group of Communities. We have built our base, and set our watch, around the mouth of the Crimson Tunnel. Exploration has shown it is connected to a Crimson Zone, so we monitor it closely.

      Attributes

    Attributes

Characters' Attributes are distinguishing features that show off their special skills and training in five different areas.   Body is a representation of a Character's physical performance, tenacity under pressure, and raw athletic prowess. Use Body when you want to intimidate someone with violence, test your physical stamina, or rely on brute force.   Reaction stands for the Character's quickness, reflexes, coordination, readiness, and initiative. Use Reaction when you need to balance, perform quick actions, react quickly, or move acrobatically. Used in situations where speed and reflexes are more important than physical strength.   Presence stands for the Character's charm, empathetic nature, and interpersonal skills. Use presence when you want to leverage authority and charisma, when you want to get information, or when you interact socially with someone and want to intimidate or persuade them.   Mind serves as a metaphor for the Character's intelligence, which is understood to include their capacity for logical and mathematical reasoning, as well as their intuition and memory. Use Mind when creating an action plan, attempting to comprehend how something works, putting theory into practice, or attempting to recall a significant event;   Determination represents the Character's personality, their willpower, courage, or the blind obstinacy not to surrender in the face of adversity. Use Determination when you need to summon up the courage to face a danger greater than yourself, want to act on your gut feeling despite the odds not being in your favor, are under intense stress or are facing your fears, want to invoke the power of the Blight or are facing its manifestations, or have a pressing need to accomplish something.
