Shields of Aleanad

A mix between a traditional mercenary/adventuring guild and kings guard. While technically independent of the Emperor, they do serve they Aleanad Empire and one of their on going jobs is to protect the emperor and their family, as well as other high officials. And as such members of this prestigious guild have status above that of most guilds in the city.
Almost of its members were either members of the Aleanad Empire's military, and in that case typically high ranking officers or are seasoned adventurers. And in either case they were invited to join this guild, which apparently pays a lot, especially if you take a protection job.
Besides protecting the royal family, the guild also owns and runs the Victory Arena, and is in charge of the victory festival.
Not all members of the guild are fighters, some do manage to prove them selves in other ways and can become lower ranking guild members who usually are in charge of running the day to day aspects of the guild. In total there are about 300 members and another 200-300 employees of the guild.
