Asiranian women in general wear twine nets over their hair, hiding to some degree, the colour and texture, but not completely. The effect it generates is to hint at the colour, depending on the colour of twine being used, it's thickness, and the fibre it's made of.   This is deliberate, the cultural impulse is to get the question asked: 'Where exactly are you from, and how do you look like this?'"
