Dwimmerwash

The great wave of arcane energy that blasted Edgeward across Cullereon from Aqaa, one of the consequences of the Aqaa-dûr-Átalan. The blast essentially wiped magic from that side of Arn, hurling it into a magicless Dark Age.
The Dwimmerwash resulted in the Great Sundering and the two are commonly, if mistakenly, used interchangeably. This is true even among some scholars.
