History

In FA XXXX just before FINALBATTLE,Near the end of the First Age, the Strangers were forced to enter Dol Valúr to escape an acid rainstorm. They were pursued by advance forces from Ángorfel who sought to prevent the adventurers from reaching Níenost.
During the combat that followed, the area was struck by a powerful earthquake. Scholars debate whether the quake was natural or if it was caused by the arcane, holy, and unholy power commanded by the combatants. The result, however, is undisputed. The Strangers escaped through a hidden builder's tunnel shortly before Dol Valúr was destroyed, collapsing in upon itself, burying its honored dead forever.
