The slow, steady decline of the Arc Empire

The Arc Empire collapsed in the year -900, after seven centuries of relentless pressure from Dran, Del’Marah and the newly arrived Ghothars and Veskans east of the Arching Mountains. The breakaway of Del’Marah was the final nail in the Arc Empire’s coffin. When the empire collapsed and the last of the emperors took their own life as honour commanded, Arc re-established itself as a powerful city state and the controller of the finances of the known world and a series of Protectors established themselves as the lords of the city. Del’Marah re-emerged as a sovereign state and waged two centuries of war until -700 in the west, conquering Del’Vettor, Del’Mudir and the Molvar peninsula.
