The Book of the Phantasm Kickstarter
Hey folks! Welcome to this week's Arcverse Update.
We've got a couple of things to let you know about, the first of which is our Book of the Phantasm preview page. We're Kickstarting on November 15th and so this week marks the beginning of our launch countdown.
You can get your reminders for the Book of the Phantasm
here.
The Book of the Phantasm will be our fourth Kickstarter (three fully funded since 2019) and this new title takes readers through the war torn parralel reality of the Phantasm, where players can:
Learn Mirror Magic, our first new caster-type Spellforger
Look deep into other realities as a Seer spell caster.
Adventure as an armoured Ebruin, a light wielding Lenari, a magically augmented Battle or Rune Witch, an empath Enodian, a horselord Rao Haatchi or a doublespeaking Dhelvin.
Long ago the one god of all creation, The Keeper, ruled the five dimensions, but as time went by he was slowly corrupted by vanity and madness, and his servants, the Graces rebelled against him. Unbeknownst to the Keeper, a crafty spirit called Onikyass had been hiding in his shadow and when the Keeper was slain, he inherited the explosion of energy from the dying deity and unwittingly created the Phantasm, a parallel universe where he was trapped first as prisoner, then as ruler.
Five avatars, lost fragments of the Keeper’s mind, emerged to wage war against Onikyass and without his wily advisor, the Chamberlain of Thente, they might well have succeeded. When your players cross over into the wartorn Phantasm, where armies dedicated to their avatar masters clash, they will discover:
Journey with your companions across the wild and war torn lands of Jaoran, and discover:
• The chilling horror of the Fate devouring Anomorvians.
• The ancient and primal earth crushing Archons.
• The giant elemental Goruginfolk
• The evil ‘Five’ avatars that control the destiny of an entire world.
