Yllione

Almost an island, this country is surrounded by water on three sides, and it is found on western edge of the continent of Kainded. The Corlyn Ocean abuts it, but its local waters include the Straight of Regrets, the Belle Maer Inlet, the Astromos Inland Sea, the Yllione Channel, and Sheltorm Lake. Yllione has a continental climate, but oceanic on its western coast. It is still populated by a Kaelthic people called the Ardorin, or Ard. Sometimes called Shield of the West, it has stood off invasions from both the Jotuns and the Karmithians.
