The University of Enlith was established in 1220, and it has 21 colleges, including those of Aequor and Swein. Besides the standard trivium and quadrivium, the school specializes in cartography and navigation, as well as theology. It houses an extensive collection of maps from all periods. The university’s crest is a sextant and eight-rayed estolle, both or, on a field of sable and argent. Many famous navigators studied here.

Fenwidden
The University of Fenwidden was founded in 909, and it has a reputation for producing wizards and medical doctors. It has thirteen colleges, including those of Jaxom and Wollyn. While it teaches the standard trivium and quadrivium, it specializes in medicine and occult scholarship. This is a wealthy institution, and it has invaluable medical and occult libraries. This university is also noteworthy for allowing women to study and teach. Its crest is the wounded man emblem on a field of gules and argent.

Gwyfned
Gwyfned University was founded in 1011, and it is very wealthy and prestigious. While it teaches the standard trivium and quadrivium, it also offers a firm foundation in alchemy and history, and it specializes in civil law. It is composed of 36 schools, and these include the colleges of Claeredon, Bellaflor, and Blailock. The school has a vast collection of alchemical texts. In addition to lawyers and alchemists, this university produces many free thinkers. Its crest is an open librum and a quill, or, on a field of sable, argent, and azure with three solar medals.

Ignarth
The University of Ignarth was founded in 1100, and it has 30 member colleges, including those of Fortunia and Effras. It teaches the standard trivium and quadrivium, but it is known for producing great poets, playwrights, and writers, and it specializes in law. This institution is wealthy, as expected, but it houses a world-class museum of ancient antiquities from across the known world. The school’s crest is hands with crossed gavels on field of tenne and argent.

Kaidlorr
The University of Kaidlorr was founded in 931, and it is the premier higher learning institution for theology and canon law. The university’s wealth is unfathomable, and it has 37 colleges, including those of Morloss, Umfrey, and Wilbert. This school also hosts and curates the Church’s secret library of metaphysics, mysticism, religious writing, and all related archives. This school produces all the top religious intellectuals, priests, abbots, bishops, and canon lawyers in Aorlis. Its crest is Metatron’s cube, or, on a purpure field.

Ygarl
The University of Ygarl was founded in 1120, and it collects 25 individual colleges, including the colleges of Aurleos and Morloss. As well as the standard trivium and quadrivium, this institution teaches history, and specializes in medicine. It is quite wealthy, and it houses an extensive collection of medical texts, both ancient and modern. As a center for medical learning, it ranks close second to Fenwidden. Its crest is a lynx on a field of gules, engrailed.
