Karmithian Empire

The Karmithian Empire was the greatest empire ever known, at least in the Known World, and it included modern countries such as Aorlis, West Karmithia, the Holy Karmithian Empire, Osman, Brymn, Khemd, Marlak, Uadan, Imerkand, and Aarchonia. It did not extend into Alusia, or lands not mentioned above. At its height, the Arlin and Arlyndor were Karmithia’s private seas. The empire crumbled in the fourth century, but the Holy Karmithian Empire considers itself the direct successor (and continuation) of the formerly mighty Karmithian Empire. Karmithia is pronounced karr-Mih-thea, its adjective is Karmithian and its demonym is Karmithian.
