Khemd
Found on the northeastern coast of Yndad, Khemd is one of the oldest continuous cultures in the world, and once the seat of the empire. It is based around the mighty river Eb and its rich floodplain, and its northern expanse is a wide, swampy delta made up hundreds of little islands.
Khemd is chaparral in its northern coastal areas, then temperate for the next third of the country, and then full -on desert for the rest. In classical times, well before the Karmithian Empire, the Khemd were a world power. They possessed all of north Yndad, which includes Osman, Brymn, Marlak, Uadan, Imerkand, and Quen.
