Realm of Magi

Magus (singular)/Magi (plural)—These are Talikian wizards/priests, and their title has been co-opted by Aorlisians to use for mages, magik, etc. For more, see religion.
Legality—Outside a religious context, all magik is considered sorcery and forbidden. Consequently, magik is only practiced by priests and wealthy, elite academics in secret, or by the magi as for religious purposes.

• Demonology, necromancy, and sorcery are all punishable by death.

Schools of Magic—Alchemy, Ceremonial, Shamanic
Spells—Magi are taught many spells in their studies, including: augury, blessings & curses, channeling, divination, and summoning/binding/banishing elementals and Jinnns.
