Creatures of Fable

Delightful Denizens of Fables and Morality Tales

Bramblehutch

The Marauding War Rabbit began his career in fables and morality tales in Noelred. This armed and vicious rabbit features in many fables. His stories likely are drawn from pagan times. His ambitions are violent, and he often leads a gang of armed, troublemaking bunnies.

Burley Brownsedge

He is the beloved, bumbling bear hero of many fables, and those stories began in Allyn. Now his amusing adventures and comical mishaps are told throughout Aorlis. He is written as a font of country wisdom, fortitude, and moral judgement. His warm-hearted antics often are in pursuit of berries.

Otus Hootfeather

Blackvale is the source for this beloved hero of fable, Otus Hootfeather, the wisest of owls and master of magic. His role in fables is to advise the hero, and grant him the wisdom and magik that the character will need in his adventures. In most tales, Otus is a grandfatherly figure, but in other stories he is a strict judge, not afraid to pass tough sentences.

Tobias Todwick

Caindos is the source for the many fables and high tales of Tobias Todwick the Sly, the trickster fox. Tobias now is known throughout Aorlisian literature. His tales usually involve convoluted schemes and duplicity, and while he rarely gets what he wants, he is always two steps ahead of everyone else. He gladly will help his animal associates in their tasks, yet Tobias will always turn it to his own benefit.
