Action Begins Here!

• In Borly, in the East Aendril Mountains, in Allyn, there is a castle called the Fastness. This is the point from which the Ashen Twilight operates throughout Aorlis. The Fastness itself is difficult to find or access, precariously built into the rock face high in the mountains. This is where Magron, leader of the Ashen Twilight, holds court.
• The Ashen Twilight has deep but unofficial influence in Allyn, and the king and his people have little choice but to bend to Magron’s demands. There is little hope of ever rooting that organization and its master out of Allyn.

• The Elector King of Allyn, Aldous Boru, has suffered from madness for years. House Boru and Allyn’s nobles have limped along for years, trying to hold the mountain kingdom together. Kings are elected here, but they hold office for life.
