Aarchonia

This is a large island in the Arlyndor Sea. Aarchonia is pronounced Are-koe-Nea, its adjective is Archonian and its demonym is Archonian. The Deep Sea lies to Aarchonia’s north, the Sorrow Sea to its east, the Aarchonian Strait to its south, and the Arlyndor Sea to the west. Archonia lies in the chaparral climatic band. Its language, like its people and land, is called Aarchonian. In classical times, Aarchonia was a hotbed of innovation and intellectual activity, and its people invented democracy, logic, figurative art, sacred geometry, theater, and a form of theoretical science.
