Efenbeorht is the north star of Wynsumheord. If ever you are lost, look for Efenbeorht. You don't have to wonder which one it is. It will be the brightest star in the sky. Follow it and you know that you're heading north.

Efenbeorht is in the night sky, of course. No matter where you stand, following it will take you north.

History

For as long as anyone in the land can remember, Efenbeorht was used to guide the way. Sailors used it to navigate the sea. Travelers followed it to explore the land. Anyone who ever was lost at night, if they knew Efenbeorht (and cardinal directions) they would find their way home sooner than not.

Tourism

The kingdom of Nurvenheath prides itself on being "The Land of Efenbeorht" due to the fact that following the star will lead you there.
