Suul'vilith Character in The Chronicles of Evalaw | World Anvil

Suul'vilith

The Goddess of Shadow, Spiders, Deception and Secrets.

The goddess Suul'vilth; The silver weaver, the spider queen, she of many eyes, the nameless whisper, fate weaver and great manipulator are but some of her many monikers.
Suul’vilith domain lurks deep within the depths of the abyss, manipulating the webs of fate that tether mortal decisions for her own amusement. The spider goddess Suul'vilth is a goddess of many faces, for her loyalty is as fickle thing as the many webs she spins. She is the mistress of deceit, lies, manipulation, scheming and intrigue. It is the discord wrought from such deception that fuels Suul'vilths powers, able to change and dominate the very lives of mortal creatures, leading them to a cruel demise. It was this purpose she was created by her mother. Suul'vilths reach is long and her influence wide, there is no corner of the Evalaw that is beyond her grasp, no matter how small, her children will find a way to scurry back to her with someone's innermost darkest secrets. Over the centuries, the schemes and machinations of Suul’vilith have earned the goddess infamy far beyond the underworld. Cementing her widespread dogma under different masks as a deity in numerous Pantheons; Arachne, Dral’azie, Goblins, Sylvanians, humans are but a few of the cultures she has managed to infiltrate over the centuries.

Phyraxgian Eye Emblem

Ana'gwuti - Dravarii

can take the shape of an old, or timeless woman or the shape of a common drider or arachnid in many Dravarii tales. When she is called upon, she will help people in many ways, such as giving advice or providing medicinal cures. Ana'gwuti is seen as a leader, a wise individual who represents good things. She acts as a guide to the creatures in the first world, helping them travel to the higher worlds. She guides and mentors them as they change into different forms, slowly becoming more akin to her in likeness. She leaves the creatures in the fourth world (the high world) to settle permanently. In the third world she taught them how to weave and make clay pots. While in the third world the people began to turn away and forget. Because of this she was sent to let the few who were still good know that it was time to leave the others behind. Ana'gwuti advised and lead the people to the upper world where they would reside. She helped the people create the sun and moon, advised the people on how and where to travel, and on religious practices.
