Qhaleillm (known by outsiders as Mantle Meld) is a condition caused when Arshinus consume a Heilmagaunt Root Tea.

CIRCUMSTANCE OF USE

Heilmagaunt root is used in a ritual tea imbibed by the Arshinusoul-BondingaphrodisiacSea Of SporesunappetisingArshinus wishing to bring a new life into the world.

EFFECTS

When consumed by Arshinus, a warmth consumes their bodies that causes their flame-shrouds to glow and crackle under the extreme, uncontrollable heat (near molten temperatures) which begins to loosen and melt their outer igneous mantles to become malleable like clay. If left untreated the process can lead to an Arshinus completely losing their mantles and in all aspects lose their souls having no physical structure to contain their life-flame.

CULTURAL RECEPTION

Heilmagaunt Root tea has been consumed readily since the first days of the Arshinus, however there is no known origin of how this root became specifically so entwined with the ritual of soul-bonding. There are small splinters of Arshinus who have attempted to Soul-bond using the root in various ways but it seems that the process that has been passed down from one generation Fire Sage to another is the only certain way for it to work without dire consequences to the bodies of the consumer.
