Lore of Death

The Moon reflects the life of the sun, casing the shadow of death.
A powerful and forbidden art, derived from the deathly realm of the Morrlibthe, commonly referred to as Necromancy and classed as one the three spheres of Dark Magic. The first vestures of death magic began when Nefraijat Iseueri, the Black Queen of Veilnakara unshackled the Morrlibthe, and unleashed the veil of death unto the mortal plane, allowing necrotic energy to begin to pour fourth into Evalaw. A lasting consequence of the unshackling saw the manifestation of the curse of unlife, those who live in death. A phenomenon where the souls of the dead that did not wish to relinquish life were no longer bound to return and forever remain in the veil of the afterlife.   Under Nefraijat the first doctrine of Necromantic lore was founded. Seeing the rise of the Cult on Nekharah, and Nefraijat thaumaturgy; more commonly referred to as High Necromancy or Il'viehn'faul by the Aelfaune is considered to be the pinnacle of death magic. These principles would set out the standard that future practitioners of lesser straits of the art would use.
