The Formidable matriarch of House Arcaine, she rules Vaul'riek with an iron fist. While Eldrian deals with the martial aspects of the house, and its dealings with the Temple and keeping the houses territories secure. It is Lenith who reigns, dealings with the political and social dynamics of Vaul'riek and house Arcaine's standing in within the underworld. Playing the power games her mate does not concern himself with.
The Dragon Princess Lenith was first born to house Urithair, the first female Urithair successor for two generations, her strong position made her immediate successor to the imperial throne, and great house itself. Her Farther Arungoh was the only surviving Urithair heir after the murder of Leniths Grandmother Empress Tsarin Vanor'Urithair.
She was a very powerful and prominent sorceress, well-educated with a natural political flare and a promising future that lay ahead of her. That all changed however when the war of briars erupted. During the Chaos of the siege of Dralgh'zeruel she was blinded in a sickening act by the malevolent Calathis Veil'Itholren. Broken and defeated before the world, she was from that point on seen as weak and considered a liability rather than an asset for the succession of the throne. This was only exacerbated by the death of her mother, also at the hands of Calithis during the same instance as her maiming.
Her Father quickly sought out a new bride that could provide him with a new, more suitable her. As soon as her sister Marithis was born, Lenith was immediately removed from the line of succession in favour her younger sister who quickly was raised to prominence, stealing away Leniths rightful place.
Bitter and twisted by the entire ordeal, she was swiftly married off like a unwanted bastard child to strengthen House Urithairs growing political and military alliance with House Arcaine, given to the sole surviving heir of that venerable house to rebuilt it's dynasty much to her disgust.
In time, Lenith would use her new found position and power as Matriarch of house Arcaine and establish herself as a formidable power to be reckoned with.
