Born 98TW into the Maikor'des line, a part of the Ganio'rell household dedicated to being their warrior caste and guardians and protectors of the highborn elite. Tainted like the vast majority of the Ganio'rell bloodline, he has attained some of the features the taint brings. His green reptilian eyes and scaled complexion. Comparatively, his taint his only minor despite the purity of the Ganiorell blood that runs through his veins. From a tender young age he was snatched away from his mother to ensure he would not become supple and weak. He would be taken to the proving grounds and shaped into a warrior. Squabbling and scrapping with the other Maikor'des children, many of which were older than him. At first they would bully and torment him, but in time he grew far larger and stronger than them, eventually beating one close to death. An act that resulting in a severe beating by the mistress overseeing their development and training. In many cases the mistress would have normally ignored such a transgression. But this particular boy Baul'uel had assaulted had been handpicked and trained to be J'arets Rie'Ganio'rells retainer. To have him bested by a youngling was an embarrassment. From that day on Baul'uels training would be almost unbearable, yet to the frustration of the mistress, he survived it all and grew stronger with each passing ordeal. When he reached maturity he was dispatched form the proving grounds to the next stage in his training to act as the body guard and retainer for a number of petty Ganio'rell nobility under the watchful supervision of a mentor; a senior and experienced member of his caste, who would educate him the importance of what it meant to be a Maikor'des. It was here under the guidance of his mentor Jastyaga Maikor'des Koul'Ganio'rell, that Baul'uel became versed in the arts of war and instructed in the ways of the combat. For over twenty years Baul'uel would continue to shadow and train under Jastyaga whilst attending thirty two different highborn before finally he was deemed ready to truly enter the service of the house. It was at this junction, Baul'uel would be banished from Rie'shae and forced to the Templar Order. In a fit of rage he seriously injuring one of his cousin during a supposedly friendly sparring match, in which they drew a live blade and slashed his face and attempted to stab him in the neck. In response he stopped restraining himself, it took serval others to pull him off of her in the end. Usually such an affair would not have attracted much attention, one noble killing another during a spar. However, it was J'aret Rie'Ganio'rell the heir to house Ganio'rell he beat to an inch of her life in a fit of rage, during the annual tournament of Rie'shae, in front of the entire assembled audience of highborn and notable officials of Rie'shae. This whole situation had occurred just days before Baul'uel would have been offically inducted into the Maikor'des. One of the advisors to Ilthicess Orssariju Rie'Gani'orell had come before the Head Maikor'des with a request from the Ithicess. She was looking for a young Maikor'des to participate in the Tourney against her daughter and heir J'aret, the individual would have to put on a show then feign defeat, taking the fall and letting J'aret win. It was Jastyaga who had put him forward, a mistake that he would later unbeknown to Baul'uel pay with his life. Being of Ganiorell blood, the death sentence for such a transgression was overlooked. If it had been of another creed it would have been a different story. He was therefore stripped of his nobility, and banished to the Templar Order. It was deemed necessary that Baul would not be made a Templar of Draal'Ithilen as had been promised. Orssariju Rie'Gani'orell was concerned that once her daughter recovered she would seek revenge knowing where he had been relocated. It had been Orssariju's decision to spare him, and did not want her daughter to be blinded by such a trivial pursuit of revenge, so had him dispatched far away to Draal'Grondi, far away from J'arets reach and influence. Baul'uel would be assessed undergoing the Seven Signs initiation eventually to be placed into the Templar Orders Myistra chapter. It is within this Order where is currently serves under captain Astaroth.
