The Mortal Perspective
The day a large group of settlers migrated from Perish back to
Birtham to found a new city, a massive creature fell from the skies and demolished all their efforts. All surviving mortals were swept away by the tides as the ocean crept into the coast. The citizens of Perish had agreed that this was
Geodeas way of reminding humanity that they were not yet forgiven for being banished from paradise, and Birtham was not yet to be settled by mankind.
A Divine Perspective
Before touching down on Edens soils, the mother of monsters, Echidna, had tried to steal the heat from the star of
Totus Stellae,
Son. She was defeated by
Stellae and fell to Eden newly afflicted with the
The Curse of Impurity. She was initially ignorant to the difference between right and wrong, but in time she learned how how to navigate social interactions.
Echidna only reached the first phase of the curse, so though she has experienced the curse run its course she still tends to instinctively perform moderately dark deeds.
The fallout the mortals experienced had nothing to do with Geodea or Birtham.
