The Bleeding Deity Species in The Garden that Burned | World Anvil

The Bleeding Deity

Brief Overview

A magical flower believed to be nothing but a myth. They say that this was once a normal flower grown first on Eden until the blood of a god dripped upon it, changing it into a new species of flora altogether...

General Overview

A golden flower on a black stem with leaves that look like rot, and dew speckled with gold drips down its petals, thick like blood. When eaten by a mortal, this plant is said to grant incredible power that many have described as a high, however, it also strains their minds. Many have eaten this flower seeking its power, only to fall into a maddening rage. Saints that feed upon its petals have been rumored to be granted the protection of their gods, but no deities have confirmed or denied this belief.
