Brief Overview

Jack is the God of Madness and is known by all as a terrifying deity. Those who do stumble across him usually discover him doing something odd, like trying to use a sickle on a lake, running backward, dancing on rooftops, and other unusual activities. Despite these seemingly harmless acts, getting too close to this god can result in a permanent loss of sanity.

General Overview

Jack is known as an ascended deity, meaning he was once mortal. The rumors are that something incredibly horrible happened to Jack which caused a severe lapse of sanity. Few recall his ascension due to the centuries that have passed since, however, those who do recall a kind young man with the best of intentions return in silence. When first he spoke the people assisting him began to speak backward for weeks, after that most died and the few that didn't became just as mad as Jack.
With each day that passes, Jack bears a different form of madness which he is capable of sharing with those he comes into contact with. The manner in which he spreads these mental illnesses is unknown, however, one simple song sung by those in the deepest throws of madness hints towards what may have happened to Jack to cause his rapid ascension.

Jack be nimble, Jack be quick. Jack jumped over the candlestick.
Jack made the jump then slipped and fell, falling in the Perish well.
He fell too far and broke his bones, landing on wet reble stone.
And though he was tough, the fall was rough,
And Jack had no way home...
Jack be hopeful, Jack be strong. Jack was down there far too long.
Jack was stuck for seven days, hidden from Sons brightest rays.
They pulled him up with pulleys and chains, but trauma had become a stain.
As one look in his eyes his eyes, and not one could deny,
that Jack would never be the same...
