History

Aigorn was once a small town that sat on the banks of a large river. A large merchant once came to the town to trade with them. But it was also known in the area as a place where the people were very superstitious and loved to tell stories of old. The merchant had heard these stories and was intrigued. He told the people of the town that his ancestor had fought in a great war, and was one of the few that had survived. He would tell stories about the great battles and he would tell the people about a magic amulet that the soldier had possessed. The soldier's name was Aldrin, and he was the only one that survived from the battle. He ended up staying in the town for a few days, and came close to the men who had taken his place as head of the town. He told them of a great treasure that Aldrin had possessed. He told them that it was a gauntlet that when put on would cause the wielder to go into a state of rage and clench the ground. He told them that if they could find the gauntlet and put it on, they would have the power to take over the surrounding villages. And so they set out to find the gauntlet. They had given up hope until they came across a man who was swimming in the river and had drowned. In his hand was a gauntlet that could be put on and taken off. They all put the gauntlet on and found that it did indeed give them the power to take control of the lands around them. The power they had was enough to control the local villages and force them to work in the mines to find the treasure that Aldrin had told them about.
