Stellar Dollar

The official currency established by the Stellar Compact, which all member states are required to honor as legal tender. Nations may establish their own currency if they want, though many smaller ones use Stellar dollars to avoid the hassle. Exchange rates are set by market-based trading. Depending on where one is, paying with Stellar dollars is an excellent way to out oneself as a foreign tourist.
